The King, Patron, this morning visited the Royal Horticultural Society of Aberdeen’s Summer Flower Show at Duthie Park, Polmuir Road, Aberdeen, to mark the Society’s Two Hundredth Anniversary and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Aberdeen (Councillor David Cameron, the Lord Provost).His Majesty toured the Show, escorted by the Chairman of the Royal Horticultural Society of Aberdeen (Mr Brian Grant), before opening the Flower Show.The Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) and Lady Starmer have arrived at the Castle.The Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer MP had an audience of The King this evening.The King was represented by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire (Professor Dame Hilary Chapman) at the Funeral of Sir Ernest Hall (Entrepreneur and Musician) which was held in Halifax Minster this morning.

The Duke of Gloucester, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Anglian Regiment, this morning took the salute at the Regimental Remembrance Sunday Service at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford Airfield, Cambridge, to mark the Regiment’s Sixtieth Anniversary and was received by Brigadier Timothy Seal (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire).
